My name is Pavels Gurskis and I love IT. I was born in 1977 in Riga, Latvia.

1988 - age’s 11 - first introduced to computer (specifically games), got excited

1989 - first time got regular access to x86. Challenge accepted to write a game. Started to learn Advanced BASIC (BASICA) and English

1991 - first experience with x86 assembler hacking and craccking

1992 - first internet experience over dial-up, FTP, IRC, Lynx as well as Windows 3.11

1993 - completed Barchelor’s degree in Computer Science at Riga Lomonosov’s college. First experience with OS/2.

1994 - first commercial application written on Turbo Pascal 5.5, first time paid for commercial support :) First experience with Mosaic browser.

1995 - First experience with Windows 95. First Slackware desktop installed & kernel built :)

1996 - first experience with Borland Delphi.

1997 - First work experience as graphic designer (CorelDraw) making business cards.
